Locals of Kanakwal village in Bathinda told ANI that they are facing so many health issues due to release of Sulphur gas from the close by oil Refinery in the area. The people complained that they are facing skin problems, breathing problems among other diseases. Some even died due to breathing problems.
The villagers rued that They have brought the problem to the notice to Authorities and held several protests to reallocate the refinary or the villagers but no action has been taken by the the government in this regard.
